This is an exquisite example of mark making at its best, a work I long to see in real life. I am always slightly amused and pissed off at anime that can pull thousands of fav when something this ethereal can get 15 or so, but something tells me your not hear for that anyhow.

I was wondering if you had been working...I have a sinus infection & it's going on 2 weeks since I picked up the brush. Still too exhausted to work.
My 1st thought on seeing this is you forgot to put the road blocks & to line the streets with watchers. Which made me think "Why is no one watching this parade?" Is it like a military parade or a riot? Is that why the streets are deserted?
Which would also explain the unnecessariness of roadblocks.
I do like the way you made the blotches at the top look like a group of people coming.

A great angle on this one (as ever) with the perception that it's a view of roads, you've actually made me look at this from a different viewpoint, thanks. I'm surprised you didn't mention the crosses...

I did see them, but my mind did not acknowledge them to be anything more then dead end streets. I should have known there was more to them.
Why crosses?
Here a parade or group of people marching down the street when no one is watching & there are crosses about is a very bad thing. It means the KKK or other racist group is out there.
I've seen one of their "parades" (had the misfortune of arriving in a town where they were grouping.
It's amazing (in a very frightening way) to know people would hate you or kill you because of the color of your skin.
