Wonderful early work, Neil
I noticed that a lot of your early stuff was posted small with low resolution. Your excellent work is much better served viewed in a larger format.

My early work was actually in the late 80's, but I get what you're saying within the context of dA.
I /might/ at some point if/when I have time (and the inclination) re-shoot some of the work I still have that was posted here but didn't sell or get shown. I hadn't really thought about it, but it's an idea...

I think you may be able to increase the size with an edit. Unless these are already set at the highest resolution.

The resolution is at the max, they were not taken for dA they were taken for my records at the time, which then morphed into my page here. I initially used dA as a free online record for myself...back when it was a lot, lot different to how it is now.

I consider my paintings to be events in themselves, I started numbering my paintings a few years ago, so they get 'event numbers'...that's why the titles are all preceded by that...you're not dumb far from it...the hole leads to deep freezing water...

Yes, I really enjoyed staying in Sweden.
I do sell (being a professional artist) and funnily enough someone is considering buying this painting at the moment...if they don't I will let you know, but I think it would be a little expensive for you.

moma did a retrospective on him a time ago and i think theres still an onlline exhibition there, otherwise i don't know how well hes covered, so i'd reccommend looking there
