A summoner and her escort/companion attempting to revive a soul-controlled mech.

I think I spent a lot of time deciding on the rough design on the figures than anything else in the picture. I wanted something resembling magitek, and that was pretty difficult to balance out. I originally didn't know what design I wanted for the mech, so I kept changing it and eventually drew out shoulders which looked like a castle wall or tower so I just went along with it and designed the entire mech to look and function like a rook chess piece.

This piece also reminded me how difficult three point perspective can be...

Nevertheless, I've hardly drawn anything mech-like so this was an interesting experience for me. I should probably color this soon as well...
