It's the moment before the horse leaps over the jump. I think one of the most intersting moments you have in the jumping row, though it is rarely photographed or drawn, because it looks just still. I still don't know how I can keep the upwards-movement of the horse in this pose.

Jumping is one thing I reeeaaaaally need to work on. These are lovely.

And I do so love traditional media too. XD I was sketching during math class the other day and reached for where Ctrl+Z would have been on my "keyboard" instead of my eraser which was on the other side of the desk...
