A slight change from my usual work, ok a vast difference from my usual work! But then this was a commission. A friend has just recently had their second child. A beautiful little girl called Isabel Rose and they asked if I could torture her innocent and developing mind by painting something for her nursery wall! Obviously I had strict guidelines so with that lack of my usual freedom I found this rather a challenge and became a tad nervous about starting it. Plus Winnie the Pooh characters are world renowned so if they looked like they'd been hit by a bus or deformed in any way people would notice! And probably point and laugh!! And we don't want people pointing and laughing at Eeyore now do we
This is being delivered to the new owners on Saturday so fingers crossed they like it I may even get some congratulatory baby sick down my shirt!!
They don't know it yet but I'm refusing payment for this. I think their money could be better spent on their family, their need is greater

I wonder how long it'll be before some over zealous DA brown shirt removes this for copyright infringement??
