This is great. You should know I love watercolours and birds.
As for tips, I don't really have any good ones cos Idon'tknowwhatthefuckI'mdoing but I usually use tubes of watercolour paints rather than pencils because they're less control and it's interesting to see where it goes. But then you might not have even wanted that lol idk what I'm talking about okay nevermind.

Your gallery makes me Hulk-green with jealousy, that's why i had to get my hands on some watercolors, they look so fucking cool!
I got a cheap little set, but i got some tubes of paint, if i can manage to draw something worth spilling them on, i'm definitely gonna try that.
Are you using pencil for your initial drawings and using marker for the darker black lines occasionally? I'm tempted by my pop-art roots to be using heavy marker lines... lol.

Haha I do really love watercolours, I have to admit. They may be my favourite, because they are so gentle but can be very powerful. idk. They're fun to use, at least.
I have watercolour pencils as well but I find them more difficult to use. It's easier with tubes of paint I reckon. But the best thing about watercolours is that it's easier to save paint. I find when I use acrylics or oils I use the tubes up really quickly. I have a set of watercolours I've had since maybe my 15th birthday that I still use.
Yeah, I use pencil for the initial drawings, then I rub it all out and leave a very faint outline so it doesn't get in the way since watercolours don't cover much. I don't actually use marker though. I use watercolour paint, but I use a mostly dry brush so the colour comes out more solid. It's probably not the best way to do it actually, haha. I didn't really think of markers for some reason. Smart one I am.

Radical bro! Well done.
It's been a while since I used watercolors, I wish I could help.

Thanks man! I figured it might be up your alley, heh.
Yep, reference and practice, always! I'm looking for tips like on banal technical things like "Short nylon brushes are the best thing to use, long horsehair brushes are hard to control" or "I use ink rather than pencil on my watercolors because...yadda yadda". I'm just kinda curious about watercolor artist's processes.
