“Leviiiiii” Your sing song voice grumbled as a karate chop like hit landed on the ebony hair of the ice cold man. His silver eyes shooting to your (e/c) ones, a look that could kill many right on the spot, but only caused you to smile.
“You’re late.” You hummed, raising a slender eyebrow to the seated man. His shoulders rolling as he swayed his neck side to side, clearly trying to remove a cramp from being hunched over his paperwork too long. “Tch.” The usual click of his tongue in response to your hit, as Eren stood there, his mouth open at the sight. Still not used to seeing Levi being treated in such a way. Levi’s bullet like eyes causing the young titanshifter to freeze on the spot, his back going ridged. You sighed, stepping into the line of fire, leaning over the desk with a small pout.
“Don’t take your tardiness out on the poor boy.” You gleamed, defusing the tension in the air as Levi simply nodded with a sigh. Standing from his desk and stretching out his muscles making your chest tighten slightly.
“Well Brat.” Levi’s deep voice floated past you to Eren. “If I’m apparently late so are you.” Erens body went ridged once again.
“Sparring field now!” Levi shot at the boy, making him jump as he clumsily turned around and practically ran down the hall. You ran your bright (e/c) eyes over Levi’s taught figure, your chest humming as he ran a hand through his ebony hair before locking eyes with you. A shiver hitting your spine.
“Well, lets move.” He quietly sighed, a small hiss at the end of the words, clear irritation at your earlier hit in front of a cadet. Causing a small smile to hit your lips. You could tease him as much as you wanted and he couldn’t so much as glare at you properly. It was too much fun. You twirled a strand of (h/c) hair around your finger, watching him as he wandered round the desk.
“Lets go the brats are waiting.” You bubbled, imitating his use of the word ‘brat’ making his hair stand on end once again as you grabbed his arm. Dragging the slight man, who was still annoying taller then you, down the hall way.
“You are a brat too.” Levi hummed under his breath making your smile widen.
“I know.” You grinned back, his eyebrow twitching at your care free approach at his uncommon attempt to insult you.

“Braun stop leering and actually spar with her! Armin put down the damn book and watch, you might actually become useful.” Levi barked orders, clicking his tongue and pinching his brows with every sentence as you leaned against the tree. Happily watching the cadets spar, as having a great view of the little ‘Heichou’ (as you and Hanji called him out of his earshot).
“He is in a foul mood today.” Hanji sighed while walking over, notes practically spilling out her arms as she dragged her work into the sunshine.
“What did you do?” She hummed thoughtfully, a gleam in her eye matching your own as you felt silver eyes glancing over with disapproval. Levi glaring at the pair of you, knowing it was a bad sign for him.
“He was late so I may or may not have tested him in front of Jager.” You giggled evilly raising a hand to your lips. Hanji grinning in return, pushing up her glasses from the bridge of her nose.
“No reaction?” She questioned, joining you against the tree while writing on one of her various scraps of paper.
“Nope, told you nothing would work.” You sighed, pouting slightly. Levi never hit back at you like he did with everyone else, no scolding’s, no punishments, not so much as a proper glare he was famed for. Nothing. Not that you weren’t exactly happy to not have to sweep out the stables or clean the library. But it irritated you. Being treated different. Fragile even.
“He is never going to do it.” You muttered harshly to yourself. Hanji raising an eyebrow with a small smile pulling at her lips out of your view.
“Cause of your brother?” She replied, with a small flick of her hair, your (e/c) eyes watching the ebony haired muscle machine with a grimace and a nod.
“I wonder if that’s really why.” Hanji whispered to herself, just missing your earshot causing you to tilt your head in questioning. Only to be met by a wave of her hand.
“Oi! Titan head, get over hear and instruct these brats.” Levi’s voice hit through the air causing you both to jump, Hanji’s papers flying everywhere as she jogged half-heartedly towards him. Glancing back at you with a small smile.
“(last name), you too.” Levi called in a softer voice, making your eyebrow twitch with irritation as you pushed off from the tree, slowly wandering over to the sounds of laboured breath and muscle against muscle. Your gaze running over the cadets half heartedly.
“For god sake Braun! Everyone stop! Guess I’m going to have to give you brats a demonstration” Levi roared, his patience obviously having failed him at one too many mistakes. You huffed slightly as Levi walked into the centre of a now gathering circle of cadets. His icy eyes scanning for a sparring partner causing many to shrink away, you rolled your neck with a small smile.
“Need some help?” You hummed over to him as his shoulders slumped with a defeated sigh, nodding finally in acceptance. You walked into the circle, joining him as he glanced round once again ensuring none of the ‘brats’ were using this as a chance to slack off. You waited posing yourself ready to spar, your muscles tensing trying to ignore the heat in your chest as his gaze locked with yours once again.

He kicked off towards you, zigzagging to try and avoid your sight before aiming a kick at your chest. You ducked in time, glancing at his extended leg with that annoying twitch of irritation returning once again. Anyone could see it was a limited attempt at sparring, he was pulling his punches. Heat flared in your veins. He was treating you fragile. As always. Because of stupid blood ties and debts to be repaid. Your teeth clenched as you slid kicking out his supporting leg with all your strength causing him to stumble. His silver eyes wide in surprise at your anger. Using your momentum to jump up as you landed another blow against his chest making him fall onto his back. Your weight landing on his straddling his hips as you grabbed his collar, poised to hit again if needed. Levi lay beneath you, dirt pushed into his once pristine uniform as your muscles tensed so not to shout. Your body slowly leaning forward, your (h/c) hair tickling his sharp features. That heat still in your chest. From anger or the feeling of him so close you weren’t sure.
“I am not as fragile as you treat me Levi.” The words coming out in a harsh hiss as you lifted yourself off him. Sliding your hands down your body to brush away to dirt with a sigh of release, all of the cadets watching you tensely.

“And that’s how its done brats.” You grinned at them, the tension releasing as you glanced back at a still dazed Levi with a small raise of your eyebrow.
“You okay…. Brat?” You sung, the adrenaline still coursing through your veins, taunting you to push your limit with him.
“Tch.” Was the only response as he stood, following your example and brushing himself off. Eyes bearing into the back of your head as you walked back towards HQ. Your shoulders slumping once you were out of view. Stupid Levi. Stupid you. Idiot Idiot Idiot You grumbled to yourself, sliding down against the cold stone wall with a defeated sigh.
“Oi, Brat.” Levi’s irritated tone hit you, causing a shiver down your spine as your body shot upright. Meeting fiery silver eyes as you simply sighed again, using the wall to support your weight as you stood up.
“Yes Levi?” You hummed in an unamused tone, all the earlier adrenaline and anger long faded as he raised an eyebrow, glancing your body up and down causing that heat to return in your chest.
“What’s wrong?” He hummed, in an equally unamused voice, but his eyes still burning into you causing you to shift away in an absent-minded manner. Waving your hand in front of your face to imply it was nothing. Turning to walk away before he continued questioning you and that irritation struck again. If Hanji, no anyone else, had pulled a stunt like that they would be on stall duty for a month, no. Forever. Heat hit your wrist as his warm hand grabbed you, pushing you back against the wall. One hand pinned to your side. You avoided his gaze, feeling your face go pink as you attempted to hide behind your (h/c) hair.
“It obviously wasn’t nothing (name)” He lengthened the letters of your name, rolling off his tongue as he tried to capture your gaze causing you to hide more.
“Let go.” You ordered but he stayed firm, a slight happiness tingling at your fingers before you tried to pull away but Levi wasn’t having it. Pinning your wrist back as his rough fingers pushed away your hair from your now red face. Tears threatening behind your eyes.

“Idiot.” You muttered, Levi’s eyebrows raising at the colour of your face, a small lump in his throat at the sight of you looking so vulnerable… sad even. You finally met his eyes, feeling that same heat burst in your chest and throat at his sharp gaze and handsome features. Only to have that put out by the look in his gaze, pity. You pulled away from him harder, the earlier anger rising up.
“I’m not some vulnerable little girl that you have to be careful around. Just because of my blood relations doesn’t mean you have to treat me so differently from everyone else you idiot.” You practically hissed at him, feeling the anger fall away to insecurity. Why? Why did Levi have to treat you so differently. All you wanted, all you had ever wanted. Was for him to view you like everyone else, like he had viewed Petra. An equal. Someone important…. The tears finally flooded over, as your leaned back against the wall looking at the sky. Too embarrassed to look at him. Too numb to feel his hand slip away from your wrist, or see the awe struck look on his usually harsh face.
“Now who is the idiot, you brat.” He hummed, his hand reaching for your chin and forcing you to look at him. His silver eyes soft, as they always were to you. You clicked your tongue, the way he had done to you earlier causing his eyebrows to pinch in irritation. He leaned closer to you, your face growing warmer as you felt his breath on your lips, your soar (e/c) eyes half closed as his ebony hair tickled your nose.
“lil (nameee) I’m back!” A loud voice boomed causing you both to jump back from each other as the HQ doors swung open. The outline of a tall built man in the doorway, his blonde hair shining out along with his dark eyebrows as you met the icy blue eyes of your brother.
“O-oh, hey Commander” You laughed awkwardly, quickly flicking away your remaining tears as you forced a smile towards Erwin. His large brows crumbling together as he glanced between you and Levi.
“How many times (name) you don’t have to call me Commander, I’m still your big brother after all.” He grumbled, with a rare childish pout on his lips.
“Was Levi looking after you while I was away?” He grinned between you both, as you shot an awkward glance at Levi. Flashes of how close his lips had come to yours playing behind your eyes. Why? What? Your brain didn’t have time to process, suddenly caught up in the deep fire still in Levi’s eyes. A shiver hit down your spine. You coughed to yourself ignoring the smirk on Levi’s lips, walking up next to your stupidly tall brother. Suddenly elbowing him in the ribs with all your might.
“How many times have I told you.” Your eyebrow twitched with anger as Erwin grunted in pain.

“I don’t need anyone to look after me. Idiot Brother.” You growled. Turning with a flick of your (h/c) hair, a quick glance back at Levi. His eyes focused on you still, with a small smile pulling at his seductive lips.
