I love the image itself. The tiny depth of field is great, and it has a wonderful textured feel to it. The typography on top of it could use some work though.
I really like the perspective of the shot. It makes us feel like the cigarettes and the smoke are right in front of us.
does anyone else think the cigarettes look like those chocolate sticks?
Yeah,and as if the smoke was actually choking us visually,cause we usually can't stand the sight of smoke...

but if someone inteprets those cigarattes as chocolate sticks,the message definitely changes....

The black and white does wonders on this piece. I don't think it would have as much impact if it was filled with colours

Light/Dark border, thoughts? I'd actually prefer a dark border to further accent the smoke.

Having a black border may make the whole thing look darker but the photo would be unclear though...

I'd at least tone it down a little bit though to a neutral, as is the border is the lightest part of the image, and pulls unnecessary attention away from the tones in the image.

Well this work have a message alright, don’t kill yourself!
This is a huge health problem for all of us, and you decided spread it, to advise that the tobacco is very dangerous for us.
The smoke kill us bit by bit, provoking serious damage not only for our lungs but for our brain too.
This sufucate our ideas, our happiness for other words our entire life!
You choose well the subject you know?

The concept is very nice! The perspective of this shot is quite fitting since it gives us the feeling that the cigarettes and the smoke are right in front of us, suffocating us. Good work on that! The black and white really complements the idea as well as the vertical crop.

I like the angle you've chosen to shoot from. I like the flaky ends of the cigarettes; they just look so inviting and crisp, and it goes along with the word "decadence" (even if that is your screen name). The soft, fuzzy focus is like looking through a veil of smoke and fits nicely with your subject matter
