hey thanks! Basically he just looks like Stephen Merchant as far as I can tell from the descriptions, so I had a good model to work with!

Can I marry this picture? Wow, I just...love this. Not just for the fact it's fanart of one of the most amazing fanfics I've read this year, but just the way you do expressions. The top sequence is fantasic! I was planning on doing fanart myself, but I doubt I could do the do the story justice like you have. I think I'll stick to just VAing Chell instead...XD

No prob, it's lovely work. I agree she's s fantastic writer, I'm not one to like fanfic, but that one is clearly the exception. As well as a gateway drug to the Portal fandom for me. XD

Oh wow! And see I feel like I'm not a real fan because of that. XD But then that's silly, because I learned one of the major Portal artists on Tumblr hasn't played it either. So I don't feel so bad.

there are a lot of people that love the games who haven't actually played them. When the writing is as good as it is, it's more about the characters and the story than the actual game play (although I've heard it's excellent as well) so I'm not going to worry about it! XD

I think in a way, and I've seen this done in other fandoms...when someone writes about a character they've never really played/gotten to know like all the other fans, sometimes they hit on traits that others might have overlooked. They have an outsider's perspective on the fandom and can come up with some really good stuff sometimes. At least that's how I've seen it.
