As most of you may know, I haven't uploaded anything decent in a long while, but here we go. I decided to do some gift art for cause she's been so nice. I must say, she doesn't even mind if you IM her out of nowhere, haha.So, this is for you, Nana. I know Killua's your fav and I did the best I can on this.

Ooooookay, critiqueishness.
First off, he's very cute! I like the pose and how 'close up' the image is. Good conciousness of light source and I'm much a fan of the two colors of shadow in cell shades.
Over all, the image is very good, you've defiantely got an eye for composition and coloring. A few suggestions:
Try using some highlights, paint them on like you would the shadows, but a layer or two of highlights on a cell shade really makes it stand out. Adding a few more light points in the eyes will help make it rounder, as well. (( [link] has a REALLY good tutorial that explains this.)) The hand looks a bit odd, though I'm sure you've already realized that. Try to think of hands as a series of rectangles and circles, the circles ((knuckles)) hindging the rectangles together. ((Better explination of this [link] ))
All in all, very nice, wonderful gift! Nice attention to detail with drawing in the fingernails and fly and such. Cute pose, you obviously spent a good bit of time on it. ^^
