PFFFFT I went to Paris last summer and my picture wasn't near as good as this one. ;A; Did you see any of those guys selling that stuff under the tower get tackled by the police? And I think it's funny how the guys with the machine guns ignore them though. xD Then again, they're charged with the duty of protecting an international monument, so yeah...

I remember how I used to go around saying Paris was the city of love, and then my French teacher was like: "No, it's the city of light". Got to love how this picture captures both of those elements, aye? ^^

sweet job on this one. i especially enjoy seeing the life around the courtyard. most people never get to see that. the tower and the lights get all the glory.. rightfully so but the people add to the real atmosphere

yes and no..
It's only when it's the strobe lights that are active once an hour that it's considered copyrighted. And secondly, the company that has the rights says so that it's not using it unless it's against a company that is clearly using the image of those strobes in action for commercial purposes.
Even more.. French law states that if it's used as a part of a panorama, that they can't uphold the copyright anymore.
