Not only is Sonic faster then Rainbow, he also has more hand to hand combat experience (E-er, in this case... hand to hoof... but still)
Even if the entirety of the Mane 6 Teamed up on him (Or all of Ponyville for that matter) he wouldn't be caught dead.
He's dealt with far worse in the games, comics, anime Sonic X, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a MLP fan too, but the facts just don't lie, Sonic is superior in every way.

Honestly, some people are being really naive.
Sonic: Not only is Sonic physically superior with his human like anatomy, he is way more skilled in hand-to-hand combat by far. And even if he didn't have both of those, he's still like 60 times faster than Applejack.
Applejack: A normal pony who has a job as a farmer..

I debunk Sonic not being faster than the speed of light. He actually is, he outran a black hole, not even light itself can do that. So Sonic is beyond the speed of light.
