One page left to this chapter.This is the longest time Annie has been in her non-super form since the beginning. I thought it was more dramatic to have her this way in a chapter about the risk of her possibly losing her increased powers.

Did any of you realize something he did there?
it's very interesting to claim he gave away a secret about the others being tested, yet at the same time she was the one who stated "she heard" that they have already done so. By saying they were inclusive means that they were never tested to begin with (no changes to report) and logically he didn't give out any information by saying such. Anything else she heard is all that she claims to believe otherwise.
So when you think about it, he kept this secret without officially stating anything. Of course Connor might be an issue, but only if there really were any to begin with.
Anyway I'm wondering if only Annie would be the only one capable of having a mutation? I don't like to think that her partner would be joining her in this regard, but it would be something if one of the others become a danger because of it and a possible warning sign to look for. Btw, is she looking at a 'Re-Growth?!?' I mean... I would certainly laugh if she ended up anything like she was turned into during the previous comic.

He did though give away a lot of random secret information on previous pages, like Annie's father having powers, the story about the two gods, Connor having powers, maybe some other things I'm forgetting. But I wanted him to seem shrewd in the way he answered her questions.
Some of the others people seen already must have had mutations, like the people she walked past earlier, maybe Thunderpunch, maybe anyone not completely human. Of the batteries they've experimented on, I think the reasoning I've been considering is that maybe Annie was the smallest, and energy storage is related to mass. Her body maybe triggered what was the easiest way for her to gain more mass?
I doubt Annie will get any bigger than she was before anytime soon. I mean I think she has only two forms and she'll just switch back to the other one. She -could- change in a different way, grow a lot more even. But I made her "super-body" almost the limit of how big I thought she could be realistically and still be a skilled superhero. She has a little room to grow if it ever seems needed (maybe 15% to 25% max?), but there's certainly a point where it would be hard to argue that it wouldn't be a major hindrance just in her bust being in the way (excluding weight, because she'd be wearing her suit anyway).
