Tenpei Sato - CRADLE OVERCome on, don't tell me they're not gonna be the Maidens in the end. You can't set up this overarching "rule of Four" in the world of RWBY and not follow through on it just cause "it's too predictable."
I've been working on this for the last four days.

The Grimm arm probably just makes her super weak to silver-eyes. Let's think of Cinder as like a Dragon/Dark-type Pokemon and Ruby's eyes as a Fairy-type attack, while Raven is just a normal Dragon-type. Also, Ruby was specifically targeting Cinder because she was close to killing Jaune.

I actually had theory on this happening, which season is which girl? I'm guessing yang is spring givin raven begin the spring maiden.

I've actually got this whole entire theory that each Maidens correspond with a specific theme of a RWBY member.
Winter - Weiss: Has had a cold relationship with her family all her life, and initially with RWBY as well.
Summer - Yang: Fiery nature and sunny relationship
Fall - Ruby: The fall of her innocence and her exposure to the real world and how it's never what she imagined from her fairy tales.
Spring - Blake: Springing back into a new life, and her arc with the rebirth of the White Fang as a peaceful organization.
Also the fact that Monty planned everything out seasons ahead, and back in 2012-2013, he released the RWBY trailers in various seasons of the year.
Red: November (Fall)
White: February (Winter)
Black: March (Spring)
Yellow: June (Summer)

That's a neat theory. I had forgotten about when the trailers came out. The only thing is how Blake would get the spring maiden's powers. If they were going to do it that way they should of made Raven the summer maiden. I had assumed Ruby might become the fall maiden and Yang the spring maiden because of their relationships with the current maidens. As far as I know, Raven doesn't even know who Blake is, aside from maybe her daughter's teammate.

Only hole with that theory is that Maidens were a late addition to the plot.
The idea for the Maidens was thought up by Monty Oum in between Volume 2 and Volume 3 and worked into the story.
