Image made for the upcoming Mega Album I've been managing called "Spectrum of Mana":spectrumofmana.com/
This Album is going to be a megaton of music (3.5 hours) AND art (50+Images)!
Here we have The Mana sword. This is a very Unique image in that is was the cover, and I really wanted this to be a collaborative piece that all 3 project artists:
, - my brother, who is equally obsessed with this game, sincewe co-oped it over 30 times.
and
- my friend Ali. Also a mega fan.
Worked on.
It would be a novel to explain who did what, but lets just say, we all worked on every part of this image. You can see more of them by the other guys, over here:

Of course, i need to buy the raw steel and aluminium for the handle, drawing, forging, cutting etc, i just need to have my tools back and here i go again

Haha oh boy, I can tell you that we didn't factor that in when making it. Just silly artists making designs. If I had to guess.. average broadsword length. It's a one handed sword (I think).Β Probably close to this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longsworβ¦
I'd have to think about it more to give you a serious idea though. I can definitely say though I'm definitely interested in working with you to make it happen though. It's one of those wild ideas I'd never even dream of actually happening.

No need to promise, at least, stand up for uptdate because i will upload in few day the progression, i nearly finished the brasure welding with copper and steel for the insert case for the gemstone (the central one in cornaline). I have the hardest to do in few day, the smithing of the blade :/ That will be the most difficult things but first i need to weld my furnace

Hey dude thanks a lot, acually i'm in construction for a work place for me. I'm preparing stuff for making a true and strong blade hard in the core soft and flexible on the sides. I'will look later for the green gem's and iron perchlorure for the instriptions on the blade "Protege nos a malo"
In anyway i will tell you and publish you the ending picture of this sword i'm fucking impatient to finish and enjoy the final look

This picture is exactly what i was watching for, already for proving i'm not joking, i made for one friend a "Surin" it's a sort of a "dague" (pls i'm french so sorry for some part few words are google translated)
What i need is the time for bring back my smithing tools. I'm definitly serious about it x)

I can just begin to make Β the handle in wood, the leaf parts in aluminium or steel (i don't know wich one i will choose for weight question and strengh) but for forging i will be paused because i required my "fourneau" for the "trempe" and carbonisation of the steel

Hey, everythings need a beginning, if you can make one draw with a dude or a shadow with this sword falling from the sky, i would have a better view of it

Well if i make it as strong (close to low katana sharpness best medieval weapon like steel s4003) ...
Painted wood handle, 3d printed decoration, i guess if a make this it would be in 150 euros minimum

Thanks! It's a little hard to define what "like this" means, but I like to keep doing different stuff so as to not get bored
