Description
Finally got around to making the last character from the main cast of Final Fantasy X. There's 7 all together, and Wakka was my least fav of the 7... (he's annoying! XD)
So naturally, I made him last. As annoying as I thought he was, he made a really fun and challenging custom design. One of my favs, so far... (How come the characters I like least, end up being my fav custom creations? XD Same happens with commissioned characters I don't like....)

Anyways, this guy took me long over a week to finish.
Just many different things factoring into it... mostly irl stress, and.... just generally a lot going on with me atm.
From start to finish, I got him done over 8 days... but time-wise, he took about 5 days. (My wrist stiffened up at one point, and I had to take a break for a few days...)

Enough rambling, onto the details!

He's customized from a baity Big Brother pony I ordered off of eBay.
His hair is satsuma, english toffee, and passion fruit.
Full body repaint in too may pigments to remember. XD Just mixed together several red, orange, tan, and brown pigments... got the sun-complexion I needed, but the over-all color was still too dark. >.>
But it went on perfectly smooth, so I now know that's the way to do full-body repaints.
To remedy the too dark contrast, I had to bronze him. Went with a dark gold acrylic layer, with a over-layer of yellow gold acrylics. I didn't want to make him all shiny, but that's really the only way to bronze. XD

His outfit is entirely hand-sewn, custom-detailed, with leather work.

My thoughts on leather work =
It's a pain in the hind-end. Majorly.

The green stitching on his shoulder/arm bracers took at least 1 hour just to stitch one bracer. >______< But I had some Rick Roll music playing on YouTube to pass the time, so it wasn't so bad.... xDDD
(When bogged down with an obligation, Rick Roll yourself!)

His Blitz ball is a hallow glass ball. >.> So it shouldn't actually be thrown... or tossed... or anything else... ever...
it's hand-painted in several layers of acrylics, and has beads glued to it for the \"bumps\", which are covered in acrylics and sealed vigorously.
