Decided to craft a quick custom of Kafei in his Keaton mask as seen in Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

I made a generation 3 version of this design years ago that sold so felt like making another one in a generation 4 pony base.

Pony base is coated in several layers of white Gesso to prep the surface, full body repaint in khaki acrylics. Eyes painted in my anime style, all paint sealed in artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in all nylon mlp hair in RetrodollsUS Dahlia, and dollyhair in colors pacific ocean, ultra violet and bougainvillea.

Mane permanently styled in my hair gel method and with a curling iron.

Outfit- started with the boots. They are simple hand stitched from a thin brown material. White sleeves on front legs are stitched and painted acrylic detailing from wide bias tape and with violet ribbon stripes stitched in place.

Then I stitched the shorts and painted white acrylic oval detailing, then his top cut from same purple material with painted golden rod and metallic gold acrylic detailing. Front of shirt stitched in 2 pieces, the thin brown material used for the boots and a triangle of the purple.

Then I crafted the pendant, not easily. Wired turquoise beads of 2 sizes on floral wire with a blue triangle bead at the top, then cut a gold heart bead in half for the gold pieces and painted over it and secured thick gold wire to line it.

Keaton mask is cut from thick beige leather, with a thin layer of yellowish leather over top, detailed in black acrylic detail.

Used a leather hole punch to punch holes for stitching on the sides to stitch a purple plastic My Little Pony tiara for a head band so the mask fits easily over his face but the ends tuck into his bangs underneath.
