The first two seasons kinda bombed. The third was great, up until the season finale. The final season was surprisingly entertaining, save for the TNJ during the finale.

...and that's the scary thing about the relationship of Korra and Asami. It took about thirty seconds of the show's running timeβthe LAST thirty secondsβand it's what everybody now thinks of about the show. They forget the world-building, the character development, the sense of spirituality that was kind of ripped off from the other show. And having not even WATCHED the show? Really?
Don't get me wrong, it's a good picture; you have a nice eye for blurred muscle detail and the particular shapes of two bodies interlocking. But please, would you mind actually seeing the REST of the show first?

I'm sorry, but I can't take this comment seriously, though I do thank you for your nice , albeit backhanded compliments.
This was piece was made not only on the request of other's, but for followers of mine on a different site that ARE bisexual, or members of the LBGTA. They were, and still are beyond happy to have their sexuality- rather, a minority represented in a show they love. Β As an artist I see no problem in wanting to celebrate with them by making artwork regardless of if I've seen the show or not. I also see no problem making an art piece of any show without having watched it either, if only to worry about people commenting on your work like you have. Your logic seems a bit gatekeeper-ish to me, and its comments actions like this that make others not want to get into a show.
Please be more considerate towards that fact in the future Β C:Β

Fair enough, fair enough. The comment wasn't supposed to be backhanded; I really do like your style. It also wasn't intended to shame you at all, or your followers, or the person who made the request. I was unaware that it was a commission; from what you wrote in the commentary box, it was not easily discernible.
My problem, again, lies not with the fact that there are two women in a relationship. As far as I see it, it's no concern of mine what they do, so long as it enhances the story sonewhat. And in the case of this last relationship, it did not. It was literally last-minute, it involved radically altering the personality of one of the participants, and now it's the most frequently-mentioned part of the show, it seems. And to me, as someone who watched both this show and the original, it seems unfair to ten years' worth of work and dedication (with a hiatus, I'll admit) to add something that could have been just as easily left out and have it be the focal point of a series on the brink of collapse thanks to bad timing and rushed writing.
So, I reiterate, no attempt was made to shame you or your viewers, and I apologize for the fact that it came out that way. If anything, I was trying to shame the show (which I have a bit of a complex relationship with).

My sympathies that you're unhappy with the direction the show finished in, but like I said- it'd probably do you well to choose your wording a bit better when making comments about fan-art in the future! Young or impressionable artists are more likely to be discouraged when they see misdirected annoyance and problematic arguments unrelated to the artist's intentions, and the proverbial death of an artist's motivation isn't something anyone wants on their shoulders! :c
Your apologies aren't needed as I'm not easily offended in the slightest, only saddened by negative connotations. I still don't see how asking me to 'at least' watch the 'rest' of the show and your disbelief at my lack of seeing it relate to your frustrations with the show-nor how 'created by request' in my artist comments could be misconstrued. Regardless, again I thank you for your compliments, but I hope this isn't how you usually comment on artworks! I'm sure there are many related forums on this site as well as other's where comments like this would be more appropriate~ I hope you find something of the like to work past your frustrations!Β

You make a good point. To be honest, I was having a bit of a bad day; it's not my usual style at all. And, to be honest, I really didn't see the commission sign anywhere; I'm still new around here. Had I seen it, I think my comment would have been considerably different.

Trust me when I say there are people who would rip your throat out over something as silly as a misunderstanding, especially when you take a bad day's mood and let it get to your comments~!
