You just have to find a really, really, really cold time of the year, where the day before was kind of warm, and bingo. But yeah, it is a beautiful place to live.

I like the nostalgic feel this has with the desaturated colours; like early colour photography from the 40s, or a hand-coloured photograph.

The warm, wintry haze is nice too: the smooth gradient of the sky from yellow to green to cyan; and the way the track leads your eye to where the horizon disappears into the other-worldly brightness.
