This was really fun to draw! This was the first drawing using my Sakura electric eraser. I didn't know what to expect from the electric eraser, but let me tell you, it is AMAZING. Highly recommend the electric eraserMedia: Mars Lumograph 2B,4B,6B, Ebony Pencil,.7 mechanical pencil, kneadable eraser, eraser stick, blending stump.

I've actually been looking into the 501st and making my own suit of trooper armor lately. As an organization they strive to keep their costumes as close to movie accurate as possible, literally looking like those age old plastic suits with painted grills on it. And I intend to follow suit by making a faithful outfit in line with that philosophy. But, as a separate endeavor I would like then then creating my own version from scratch that takes the same basic design, and then advances it to a higher level of realism. And you've done that pretty well here! I like how you've taken details that, again, were previously painted on but now made them actual functional looking elements. Likewise things like the visor demonstrate a more, practical approach.
