This may sound odd but why does Glitter Force get so much hate? It's a really good anime in my opinion. I know that's my opinion. But still. I don't see any good reason to full on hate it. It's amazing. My theory is that it's a kid's show. That's it. And if that's the reason you dislike it, get a fucking life.

It's a cut down, heavily altered version of Smile Precure (which is also a kid's show). The more emotional bits were edited visual- or script-wise or cut out entirely to make the show be far happier in tone, the visuals are inconsistently edited, the EDs were replaced with (IMO) awful generic pop songs, and don't even get me started on some of the music videos. Most of the things relating to Japanese culture were cut out, and the emotional core of Smile Precure is kinda ruined. I can see why it was done like that, it makes sense for episodes involving death, but it comes off as insincere and too "think of the kids!"-y. Like, kids are smarter than people give them credit for, and it comes off as being like an overprotective parent who wants their kid to be nothing but happy all the time.
