Gouache on A3-size watercolor board

A high school friend commissioned me to paint a portrait of her parents for their wedding anniversary. The original photo used as reference is actually different from the painting. We used a different reference photo for the mother - changed the clothes into a wedding gown, and tweaked the hair to make it look like the style she wore during the wedding. She also specifically asked for a color theme of teal and peach. I just added splashes of yellow and pink to make the painting look livelier and warmer.
