Description ╭━━━━━━
 ‣ Tier 2 - Confidence
You must learn to walk before you can run, and a Stryx must learn how to run before they can fly. Young dragons are often rather clumsy, and must learn how to center themselves. As well, learning to walk and run steadily will prepare them for hunting on land, and chasing down prey. Draw your Stryx jogging or running, following after its rider or another Stryx.
╰━━━━━━

The town, at night, with a bell.
I'm only wondering how many things they're dropped on their way while learned to run :"D

This is amazing! 💕
The lighting and angle is spot on!

Did you use perspective to draw the background?
And do you have any tips for an artist who doesn’t know how to draw backgrounds at all? 😭

Thank you!

Precisely for this background - not, I was lazy to make a construction: "D But in works like here [link ] or here [link ] - yes, I used. Not a hand-made perspective, but a Clip Studio Paint's 2 pointed perspective ruler. I heard that this thing can be also found in SAI2, and it works the same way. Very useful thing. Very often the wide of a horizon for correct angle has a simply monstrous size. So, the ruler - absolutely magical thing.
Hours of everyday practice, referencing of photos and real life things. When I decided to become better in backgrounds, I start to put backgrounds even in small dumb sketches, to increase the quality of my works and have more hours of practice. Every time you want to learn something - include it in your daily activity. Nothing in this world is given immediately and quickly, the fails are first. Just don't stop. A goal can help, a big goal, bigger than "just be able to." Maybe you want to show your world in your backgrounds, or make a lot of money by drawings with qualitative backgrounds. The goal will help not to become sad and not to leave everything halfway.
Hope this will help you!~

edit: the links weren't linked, haha, fixed it

The character who has the bell, has a little Aladin side in his position.

Beautiful illustration! ^^

Love it's green eyes. At first I thought it was chasing after the humanoid creature but then I read the description and now it makes sense, especially since I was odd why the bird creature (the Stryx) was calm in the face. Makes more sense now.

You get it so nicely every time. the energy and fluidity in your mark making is so fantastic (even on the sketches as well as the finished pieces). Its an absolute joy to look at and i adore getting to lurk and lose myself in your work, even if im horrible at commenting as often as i want to

The color scheme of this is so well done and all the little details are amazing. I love the texture of the wood and feathers.
