TWWM Haloween event: Autumn Lights

Very cool event, and in general I love Halloween, but I'm not sure that I can complete all the proms. Well, at least the introduction!~

Ah, Grey and orange: one of the best Colour combinations. Interesting how the warm light seperates the foreground from the Grey, mysterious Background. The sharp shadows look nice, almost like cell shading. The bright orange Lights on the Right sort of guide the eye, leading over to the neck and head of the esk, which are pointing towards the tunnel-like path. But then, there`s this drop of light Grey, leading down, back to the water and then one may follow the tail back to the esk`s head again. I like the spirals on one of the trees and one light. It`s not a very natural shape (well in this Kind of environment. Of Course you can find spirals one sea Shells or elsewhere)but you managed to blend it in very well.

the atmosphere of this is just so hauntingly beautiful. absolutely gorgeous work! i really love the hard-edged shading you did in the tree trunks and the lighting.
