I am Jack's out of shape body.I'm having alot of problems accepting who I am, and so I'm making myself post this. don't ask me why, but I guess this is my one step closer to being happy.

lucydowning101, the very same could be said about skinny people. What many people do is mentally place "fat people" and "skinny people" into groups, assuming they all have the same opinions and such. If what you were referring to when you said "fat people" was those who are obese, why are you commenting on this picture? Every day, even within popular music, every body type has critiqued at some point. If others just focused on leading healthy, long lives without tearing others down, nobody would overeat dangerously to the point of obesity or resort to the deadly mental illness(yes it is a mental illness, not just a "diet") anorexia/bulimia.

You shouldn't conform to being overweight but people shouldn't be treated as less of a human being because of it. Both extremes are bad. Basically, yeah. The problem with this kind of image is that it implies that being overweight or obese is okay, it's not their fault, just be who you are, you're beautiful anyway. Sometimes, people need to actually THINK and realise; hey. Maybe I'm not healthy how I am, I should try and change.

So no one should take pictures of fat people because any picture of them is a negative effect on society? Sorry that's a bunch a bull, the girl in this picture is not super morbidly obese or anything so how dare you say she can't post a picture of herself because she's a bad effect on society.
Also you need to realize that people that are overweight are constantly hated and ridiculed for it. This picture is in no way glorifying obesity, but promoting self acceptance which goes to their mental health which constantly takes a hit from society. Which in my opinion is more important than physical health.Β

Seeing as you aren't too pretty and perfect yourself you don't have a place to talk. She's trying to boost her confidence. She's not saying don't fat shame. She's trying the first step in building self esteem. If you weren't busy being a shallow cunt trying to bring this down with a negative you'd see that.
