I love this little fellow, he is so cute
I chose him as starter~ x"3
i drew it for practice
but i took so long, i forgot wath i was aiming to practice
maybe backgrounds...
ah no, i wanted to improve my colouring technique
is it ok?
I figured out that i have problems coloring big areas (like pokemon bodys x_X)
i like it~ excepting some things like the shade...

I like the coloring on Pokabu and the tree especially. But, for some reason, the ground looks kinda weird to me. I guess because there really isn't a sense of depth. I think you could improve that by changing the angle of your strokes as you color it in. But, I'm not the best at digital art, so my suggestion may or may not help at all.
Somehow, I really enjoy how the lines for the background continue on after the coloring has already stopped. It's so neat! Oh, and I wanted to mention the sky too. It's really nice and soft.
So, overall, really great job!! I hope my critique helps a bit! Keep up the good work!

Is the red color at pokabus head and bottom ok? I tried to avoid the use of black and grey shades, so I hope though it is a purple tone, it has a effect as if it is black.. you understand?
I tried to make the ground look more interesting... but now that u mention it, it really looks kinda odd..

Yeah! It gives him a softer look. Black would have been too intense a color for the composition you were going for.
