Here stands Octavia Melody, one of the few Earth ponies to master the cello. Tonight she will be performing an arrangement of Bela Bartrot's Roneighnian dances for piano and cello. Not since Yo-Yo Baa last performed in Canterlot has a cellist garnered this much attention.

This was a request by I finally did it! I play cello, though it's been a while since I last played... I had to move across the country and didn't want to put the cello in the moving van and couldn't fit it in my car.;_; I have pretty much the same cello case, but it is a cheery blue color. I just have to figure out the best way for my parents to ship it... or... drive back and pick it up in a rental car...

My apologies to Béla Bartók and Yo-Yo Ma. I couldn't think of good horse puns for Pablo Casals, Haydn, Dvořák and a few others (including Bartók's fellow countryman Franz Liszt), so I went with Hungarian composer Bartók. Hmmm Serneigh Prokofiev's Lt. Kineigh? OK... no.. that's pretty bad, too. Well, thanks for stopping by!
