My brother says they're really annoying. Then again, he was camping in someplace in England and the birds kept waking them up at three in the morning. So, I can see how he would say that the birds were annoying.
In my facebook Nation, one of the problems that arose was the hunting of peacocks to the point of near extinction for their feathers which where highly prized and used on expensive clothing and the like. Yeah...

Yeah, they don't make a very nice noise, peacocks... and they look incredibly silly from behind when they've got their tails up! Just a fluffy bottom with skinny little legs
