Personality: Nayeli is very gentle and kind, and due to her smaller than average size she prefers to try and talk things out rather than fight. She has a strong maternal instinct, even with pups that are not her own. Her lack of strength is her biggest flaw, for many of her subordinates do not find her very intimidating and thus do not always follow her orders. Because of this, she is somewhat insecure. She's a very social creature, and loves being in the company of others. Unlike her mate, she is very tolerant, and often goofs around with her subordinates.

Background: Nayeli's parents had trouble conceiving, and their pack began to worry if their would be an heir to take the position of alpha once Hiamovi and Tablita passed on. Their wishes come true when the Tablita delivers two healthy pups, a male named Yuma and a female named Nayeli. As pups, the two get along wonderfully and are adored by their parents and the rest of the pack. Yuma is trained to be the next alpha, and while Nayeli attends many of Yuma's lessons, she knows she won' follow in her parents' paw prints. However, this changes in their teenage years when an illness strikes her pack, claiming the lives of her brother, mother, and a few other pack members in the process. Nayeli and her father are devastated, and now she is suddenly the next heir. Hiamovi is in his older years by this point, and he fears that some of the other males within the pack would take advantage of his mate-less daughter once he passed. He arranges a meeting with a neighboring pack with whom his pack has had an alliance with for many generations. The pack's alpha pair, Micco and Winema, are good friends of his, and he hopes that they will help solve his problem. He's in luck; Micco has a second son who he believes would make an excellent future mate for Nayeli, as well as a wonderful leader for his pack. This son, Shilah, is not very comfortable with leaving his family, but he knows it is for the best and thus agrees to his betrothal with Nayeli. Nayeli nervously awaits for her father and future mate's arrival, and her stress causes some awkwardness between her and Shilah when he first arrives. However, as time goes by and the two get to know each other, they hit it off and fall deeply in love with one another. Hiamovi finds peace in this, and passes on in his sleep about a year after Shilah's arrival. The still young couple take their place as the new alpha pair, and despite their age they manage to lead their pack successfully. Some years later, when the now mature couple is expecting their first litter of pups, that illness that struck so many years before returns and wipes out over half of their pack within weeks. Out of fear for their unborn pups, Shilah and Nayeli return to Shilah's homeland with the remaining members of their pack. They are welcomed with open arms, and are allowed to stay as long as the wish. The pair decide to stay until their pups are born and are old enough to make the journey back home.
