Description
This is the art to chapter one of the "Once upon a time" story arc, from the Irendigo series. Yes, I plan to not only make pre-stories to the Caspana Herd, so it will stay interesting and so that I won't be done so fast and always have something to practice. I'm especially looking forward to the Koruna series since I really want to be able to draw deserts and BUILDINGS. I hate buildings :'D

Doscado yawned. The sun had barely risen over the horizon, and from the forest birds could be heard singing their morning songs. Overall, it was a usual morning. Except the fact that he was already awake. Wake up you little goof-off and make yourself useful for a change. Had been the sweet words his mother had woke him up with some minutes ago. He glanced around on the herd and watched with jealousy at his friends who were still allowed to sleep. He yet didn’t get why he needed to be up this early and thought about ignoring his mother’s orders and just go back to sleep. It would not be that easy though since his mother was Lingering Sun, better known as Linger, lead mare of the Caspana Herd. He did not know if her position had turned her into the strict, coldhearted mare she was now, or if she had always been like this. Anyway going back to sleep would just earn him a painful bite from his mother and so he decided to just swallow his tiredness and see wh
