Sorry for the little wait, I lost motivation.
Anyway, here it is! The new page! 
I contemplated wether or not I should put on a sepia effect for the storytelling-panels, but I decided against it because it ruined the whole color-effect I put into the panels. :I And it is apparent anyway that this is a backstory and not the present, so I guess sepia is not needed anyway.
And yes, it is always a joy to draw deer! 
Hopefully I get the RPG work done and also new pages finished in the next week.

I have been reading your comic- this is my second time going through it since the wait of the latest page- and there's one thing that has caught my attention. How come the stallion isn't the one to lead? Is it something that has to do with the plot, or was it just something you thought would be okay to add in?

There is no way I would ever be offended by a genuine question like yours, so do not worry about it!
It was mentioned very briefly here, but you're right, an in-depth explanationw as never given.
Basically, it's not like natural horse herds, where there is always a lead stallion and a lead mare, but the stallion has the higher authority (he protects the herd, while the lead mare makes the logical decisions of where to go). In the world of Mereldia however, the animals have evolved from thsi natural state due to the breeding with fae and therefore have reached a higher level of intelligence. Since this was gained by the god that ruled over them, which they worshipped, there was never a question as to who should lead, since it was always the god. The instinct to lead therefore became more and more insignificant.
When it comes to lands like Irendigo, where the god was female, the people (I refer to the sentient animals as people) automatically regard a female as the stronger being, since their goddess is one. So in that sense, their ideas of the gender roles is a little switched. So when the time for Duana came to leave Irendigo and they were left to rule themselves, they naturally chose the wisest and strongest female to lead the herd (who had also gotten a blessing from the goddess). The thought of a stallion leading the herd was as odd to the horses of Irendigo as the thought of a lone ruling queen would have been in the 13th century in our world.

Oh... wow!
Maybe by chance, I was playing Asgore's theme while reading this page and... reading about this great leader that was Sunny's grandaughter and how she tragically fell from grace... for some reason or another, it reminded me of Asgore. And his theme went pretty fluid with all of this, specially the piano part with the fourth panel. (the one with the sunset)

I'm happy you left the color in the backstory scenes. The scene of the young playing is so springlike and happy with all of that color! Your backgrounds are gorgeous and they really shine in these scenes. :3

I bet Linger would either be proud of Sunny for who she is, or there would be a very big rivalry between the two XD
PANEL #1: The big tree looks absolutely wonderful and the bark looks so realistic. Sunny's coat stands out against it really well.
PANEL #2: The shading on Sunny's mane looks wonderful, though because of the angle it looks like she's winking (to me anyway).
PANEL #3: The little filly and deer look wonderful together. But it does look like the filly's hind legs are a bit too high up. It just doesn't look completely natural, as if she is going to flip-over or do a hand - hoof? - stand. Absolutely love the grass.
PANEL #4: Lilafly at her finest. Need I say more? (That sky is incredible though. It looks /so/ realistic.)
PANEL #5: The background and the shading are my favourite parts of this panel. They just look too good.
PANEL #6: Is it wrong how much I'm loving the blood here? XD I don't know and I don't care either. It looks incredibly realistic (though I think it might be a bit messier, in both panels 5 and 6 - more blood essentially). Is it also wrong how much I'm loving that shrub? Like, can-I-marry-it love?

Awesome page, just loving panel three with the horses and deer playing together. So cute!
Oh by the way, it should be "prove" not "proove" in the fourth panel and in the last panel it should be "died of her injuries" instead of "died on her injuries". Otherwise, great job as always!
