It's my new computer background, and my first drawing with my new tablet, which is awesome, by the way.I'm new to all of this super-tablet-background-drawing, so if my planet and outer space look bad to you, I'm sorry that I'm not a pro sci-fi drawer. 100x thanks to my tablet for making it possible for me to work on a half-decent background, even if it did take me hours upon hours to draw it. I hated drawing backgrounds with my mouse.
I changed up my coloring style to fit my tablet more, which means no more gradiented coloring for me. I still do lineart with my mouse because it has more precision.
Oh, and the lens flare was drawn manually because Opencanvas doesn't have it. I don't care if it sucks; I just like lens flares because I happen to be a physicist.
Edit: Fixed up the stars a bit.

Just the Wacom Bamboo tablet that's probably the most commonly used among casual artists. Simple, but very handy.

This looks absolutely amazing!!! The background blew me away, and I love the way you handled the coloring. Your Draggie really fits in well, and my eyes are still glued to the wonderful detail you did on the planet! Great job XD

I still envy those sci-fi artists whose depictions of everything in outer space are extremely realistic. Of course, a too-realistic background doesn't work well with my Draggie, but still.

IMO, too many stars, it's just distracting from the awesome view.

IMO, not enough stars. I need so many stars that the diffraction effect makes everything so unresolved to the point where there's just a continuous blur of light across the whole picture.
