You know that little voice that tells people to quit when they're ahead? I don't have one.I TRIED to walk out of this with a face. Now I'm afraid I'll be picking up the pieces. I swear it was supposed to be just the first three panels. Then my pencil just somehow... slipped. And once you see a homicidal maniacΒ panickingΒ because somebody tugged on his lekku, you can't quite unsee it.
Sak, I have a whole new level of respect for you. Frankly, it's quite beyond my comprehension why someone would willingly put themselves through the torture of drawing Laz'ab. Repeatedly. The amount of detail is tremendous. I wasn't even halfway done with the first one and I was contemplating impaling myself on a chainsaw. And that was even before the tatoos.
(The answer is Aion , isn't it?)
Aaand funny story time... the little green genteman visited me in a dream. He made it clear he wasn't very happy with my earlier take on him... he was pretty trigger-happy though, so I guess it balances out. I'm glad I had somewhat perfect timing while dodging... also hell yeah, good timing helps to be a great animator xD
As if that wasn't enough, the night after that I dreamed of Laz'ab. I think he wasn't aware yet, behaved way too calm... but I was still running away. Successfully. Luckily for me it was raining, so I guess the lightning was out of the question.

Omg, I could tell you some stories. Β I have what I call "Faire Ian" which is my behavior at a renaissance faire. Β If you've ever known any theatre kids, you are on the right trackΒ Β . Β because when i get drunk and want to do "Faire Ian" shenanigans, which entail various personal space invasions and mindfuckery, well... the little voice told me "no dumbass, you're drunk don't do that." and for whatever reason, I listened. Completely sober however, I'm a troll , and a dumbass Β Β

The one theatre kid I know better is quite timid. The other ones that I have a chance to observe tho... hahhaha. Yeeeah, easy to imagine. As a bonus, animators happen to be actors through their drawings so yeah, got a load of that.

Yeah, I do recall him running around with a chainsaw... in a mini-skirt and the rest of the outfit to match XD Though I still think he's more of a lighsaber guy. Chainsaw might be too quick a kill. Still... from wanting to impale myself it went to wanting to murder HIM, or at least cut this damned lekku of his off; also, rip the skin off him so he wouldn't have any more of those damned tatoos. And then I kinda felt like killing everyone around. Drawing Laz'ab sure does put me in a murderous mood xD

I thought those tentacles were particularly... "sensitive". This knowledge makes it difficult for me to determine if that is a scream of pain or a scream of unexpected arousal. Maybe both.

I'd say more of a surprise, really. Laz'ab is schizophreniac impotent and generally avoids physical contact. As for pain... idk. I have no idea if it's more like having your hair pulled or maybe just like being pulled by an arm.
