This world is heavy, little one, so when you were under my heart, I bathed you in hope for strength.

This world is lost, little one, so when you were under my heart, I promised to guide you.

This world is sad, little one, so when you were under my heart you made me smile.

This world is hate, little one, so when you were under my heart I gave you my love.

This world is lonely, little one, but we'll always have each other.

Little one, o' little one, please be still and listen;

Your tears are my tears and your fears are my fears and I will shed none until you do. You're the life of my heart, you've been from the start, You are my dream now come true.

Sleep soundly now, for dreams do depart, tomorrow brings dawn of the day. Come fair or foul weather, together forever, I love you in every way.

Puppies get to have moments like these." Tender, stormy weather, life is terrible, I can't take it anymore, but it'll be ok because mommy loves me" Moments. Moments that are captured in images like these, impossibly perfect images that tug at the heart strings. I wanted to write a story for this but I -couldn't- It didn't fit. Nothing fit. This isn't an image I can put a story to. A poem, however, is perfect. This needed a poem as much as this picture needs a frame.
