Talking about well chosen titles.. here you have another example that I like.
The feathers remind me obviously of indians who had a great respect towards nature, lived their lives in the way they wanted, went where they liked and their knowledge suggested them to go. Reflecting that idea to this picture, a lot of the characteristics that indians had are automatically associated with her and her character. So, with just a few feathers, I feel like I "know" a bit about her and what she's like... Whether that is real or not is not that relevant, main point being the impression that I do and find myself wondering about it. In other words, the picture works for me and that feeling is what I seek in art in the first place.
So, thank you for that.
