Please tell me...did someone else use Four Nations Academy as a school name in an AU comic?..or something similar?
Perhaps I've just been over-thinking it...but it sounds very familiar now.
Okay...so I've been doing a bunch of designing for this Avatar AU comic I was talking about. (Don't worry, more My Little Avatar and commissions are soon to come.)
So...I had this dream that led to this idea about an Avatar AU comic. Modern day..sorta...but it still involves a lot of bending. Can't leave out the bending. There are more details about it in my journal. [link]
I went back and forth on the idea of uniforms for quite a while...but I've finally just decided that they will be easier to use. I won't have to design clothing all the time. The uniforms are pretty basic...and will leave a little room for characters to personalize.
The uniforms are the same, except there are 4 sweater colors. One for each nation's students.
Probably obvious...but just in case anyone is confused or just doesn't know much about avatar...ir goess...
Red for Fire Nation
Blue for Water Tribe
Yellow for Air Nomads
Green for Earth Kingdom
...but the comic itself will be black and white. Ink outlines and pencil shading.
These are NOT students from the comic...just random sketches...
Probably will be moved to scraps soon....just wanted to share some ideas about the upcoming comic.

Hogwarts is different...
Griffendor is Burgundy and gold.
Slytherine is silver..and something...
..and none of them have colored sweaters....it's their ties and scarves.
This is just one different colored sweater per nation.

Actually Gryffindor is Red and Gold, Slytherin is Green and Silver, Ravenclaw is Blue and Bronze and Hufflepuff is Yellow and Black.
The elements don't match, but that's not my point, just that they're the same colors.
And for the record in the books the students wear black robes without any indication of House

That's the books, it was clear from my comment that I was referring to the movies.
It's not all the same colors if only 1 color from each house matches...and these would be the most obvious choices for bright colors to go with the elements...

And another thing I don't care about the movies, the color of the houses are the color of the houses even if those folks doing the movies can't get them right

I'm not going to yet. It's all pencil and ink for right now. (Which is why I can do it fast. I drew most of the sketches and first page while Cadance played at the playground the last couple days.)
But...I will have my manga studio program back soon and be able to do cool textures and stuffs.

This is fun...but yes...I'm very busy to even attempt this...
But...since this is a project that's just mine...and not a collaboration or commission or prize...I have no deadline. So...no commitment, which is good. Ha ha, but right now it's fun so I'm obsessed and doing a lot.
