Description Finished, colored version. [link]

What will be my Season 3 Avatar poster..or wallpaper...or whatever...

This was today's sketch...but it ended up being more of a project. Just started inking... I'll color it when the inking is done.

I know the style is completely different than my usual stuff.
I've been studying a lot of different styles, mostly Manga and Anime artists, but I found a hip hop art book at the library yesterday. I've really been wanting to broaden my horizons and I've always liked this style.
Heh...I need some more practice at it, but it's fun.

Hope to finish this one up in a few days.
Sorry about the blotch on Azula's face...I can't erase it.

Awesome pic, Lil. Wish I can say more by my left hand got attacked by mosquitoes and now I have one on my middle finger and my ring finger. It bothers me >.<

I like Sokka now and his warrior armor or what ever they call that. Mai's expression is FTW. Zuko finally has a topnotch! Yayness!

I know, you said in your journal. It's better now and it doesn't hurt anymore. Thought that bit on my left leg isn't doing well... same with the other three on my right leg.

Why must the mosquitoes bit me? TT^TT I have one on my face by my ear too and I don't really like it there...

I've been really wanting to draw the season three version of these characters, especially Sokka's, cause his seems to be the coolest! I think diversity in art and styles is key, otherwise we'd always end up drawing the same thing over and over! Great job!

Kataang and Maizu...such a joke. That first puppy love thing never works out. And I seriously don't get how anyone could look at that pic and see any sort of ship in it. Geez.

Now that my bitching is out of the way, I just wanted to tell you that I'm really digging this. It's very different and unique. Who else would think to apply a hip-hop art style to Avatar? So very cool, Lil. ^_^

(Heh..you know...I'm not actually a Zutara shipper...but my best friend is. XD She whines about Kataang and gripes about Maizu... I was thinking about doing your Maizu challenge..just never got around to it. I don't get enough harassment from other shippers...so my gallery is mostly Zutara...with a healthy dose of Jeko! Cause Jeko is my fav ship! Jeko! )

Maizu challenge??? For some reason, I'm drawing a complete blank on that....

One of my brothers ( )....I don't know what his shippings are. He makes fun of Zutara...too much, I think, but....ah, well....he doesn't think Maizu is going to happen, and I'm not sure where he sits in other ships, really. :iconredcookiemonster:, the next brother down, ships Zutara and Taang, I believe, but possibly because his girlfriend ships them....but she's tolerant....

I don't know many other real-life Avatards, though. None at college...yet....

It's not going to be anywhere near as much fun when the ships are all settled, though....which is why we ship their CHILDREN!!!

Ships are very fun while they're in the air, but as Teen Titans and Pokemon have proven, it just becomes frustrating when they aren't resolved.
