(Edit~ Fixed the angle of the hair, added some floor boards to help define the room.)
So, this is for one of my upcoming finals. We have to choose a product to write a procedural instruction manual for. Mine is going to be on inking and shading with Faber Castell Pitt artist pens. This is the finished, shaded drawing. Once I turn in my final, I think I'll post it here. It will be a full inking and shading tutorial. This will be a couple of weeks, though.
This is marker, so I can't change what's already done, but feel free to offer any critique that might be helpful, thanks.

Glad you like it. Ya, I thought about getting an actual bottle to reference but never got so far.
This was done a year and a half ago. I usually do more detailed shading with copic markers now.

I think this is one of your finest pieces yet! Her expression and positioning is killer, and I really like the style of her clothes! My only critique would be that of her lighting. You have the light coming at her from the right side of the page, and the shadows hit her other side(and the bar faces the same direction), but her shadow in the floor looks as if it is another light source coming from directly above. If you extended her body's shadow towards the left side of the page, it'd fix that lickety split! You did a simply marvelous job on this piece!

I'd hit that.
My only miff is the shadow direction - when you look at the table and then at the shadow on the floor it looks off, not to mention the little shady-oval only seems to go as far as the diameter of her feet. Since she's leaning, even if the light was directly above her there'd be some more shadow down there.
UM UM UM i guess I probably posted this too late anyway. Her left foot looks a bit teeny but other than that, I think my first statement pretty much says my opinion of the picture.

Ya...I'm still working on the shadows. A little better maybe...but ya...still working on it. I don't know why the shadows on the floor confuse me so much more than the shadows hitting the people....
Ha ha, her tiny foot is my fault. It was wider...but then that leg was slightly to long...so I shortened the bottom of the foot and forgot to lengthen the top. XD I'm not sure I can fix it without making the top of her foot look like there's something black on it.

I don't know. For me personally, I try to focus on one small thing at a time that I want to improve. Expressions, certain perspectives, specific pieces of anatomy.
If I work on trying to improve...just everything...or just in general, I don't get anywhere.
