Description
This is my very first commission request I received, so I decided to give it a try.
I hope you like it,
She requested for me to have her batsona meeting Shade for the first time, and I somehow imagined that her OC accidentally steals Shade's catch, not realizing that he was hunting for it too. I thought it would be a cute way of becoming friends.
Again, I suck at backgrounds, so I took one from Disney's Pocahontas.
So sorry this took me such a long time to make. I was having a creator's block plus life kept me busy. Finally, it feels like a dam has been broken open and I feel creative once more.
I have to thank "The Great Mouse Detective" for that.

very good piece of work although i think shades design looks a tiny little bit rushed as i've see from many of your other designs of him that he looks a bit better but good work overall.

I'm kind of in a rut with Gone Batty II to be honest. I started writing the new story as an attempt to get out of it. I'll try to get the new chapter out by the end of this month.

Lol, I'm probably not doing anything for Christmas again this year. We have a overly hyperactive puppy, so he might end up destroying the Christmas tree if we got one- so no tree this year again. Presents...mom thinks we are too old for presents. xD But that won't stop me from getting her something. Maybe I'll get something nice for myself this year too.

thats cool. hope you have a great christmas. just want to ask a question about your gone batty 2 fanfic if that's alright. you commented to someone as they put a pretty dark suggestion or something and you deleted it, well you said that your sequel was 'going to be pretty dark as it is' or something very similar. how exactly is the story going to be dark? i've read sunwing and firewing and i must admit that ripping people's hearts out is pretty dark and gruesome but i was just wondering if you are going to add anything that is dark but not in the sunwing book? not sure what exactly but this question has been in the back of my mind since i first read your reply to that question which was months ago but i felt a bit embarrassed to ask. sorry. Hmm, let's see...
When I said the story was going to be dark, I meant that there will be violence. There will be emotional drama. There will be more blood then ever. There will be a lot of death and betrayal. It's going to be a story where you will not even knowΒ if the main characters will make it out alive. I am the type of author who isn't afraid of killing off a beloved character for the sake of getting an emotional response from my readers (I'm a sadistic human being. LOL). Compared to the first story, this one isn't going to be as light-hearted and innocent. That is what I meant by "dark."
The suggestion that the person had put up was that Goth should rape Melody. I feel that it's too much of a dark subject matter that I'm not comfortable writing for many reasons. I doubt many people would enjoy reading that either. I want to keep this story to a rating that most people can handle.

NO WAY! i am so glad you deleted that review. why they asked for that i don't know. i can only imagine how you reacted to first reading that review. blood? gore? VIOLENCE??? how is melody ever going to fall in love with goth if he's even more of an arrogant, selfish, bloodthirsty (excuse my foul language) bastard? i just can't see how that could work out cuz from what i read in sunwing (and sorry if i am giving minor spoilers if you haven't read this far) he's much darker than he is in silverwing. is phoenix really going to be i this fanfic? cuz she's only in firewing. please don't kill off a main character!!!!!!!! please not throbb! (cuz as you probably know, he does originally die in silverwing the book). not shade! not marina! not baranabe! not elliot and please not deniese! i know that you won't kill f mel but goth (spoilers again, sorry) i am not too sure if you are going to kill him off at the end as he is meant to die. Yeah, she gives me a LOT of odd requests. Heck, she doesn't even listen when I ask her to not review more than twice per chapter. They are like essays almost. Sucks that she's a guest on ff.net. I totally would have blocked her reviews. Β
Im really happy to see you love my characters, and the ones from the book. I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you when it comes to killing off main characters. Someone will have to go. I had this planned for a long time now. I will not say who will die.Β
Dont worry about the violence coming from Goth. He isn't going to be the main villain in this story. Phoenix will take that role. And she's more monsterous than Goth. I have to let the relationship between him and Melody bloom somehow.Β

That totally sucks about you not being able to block her. But if it's possible can you send me some of her comments as well as the one we've been discussing so I can read the for myself. What was/is going through your head exactly every time she posts an odd review?
About killing off a main character....strangly the only two characters I can ever imagine you killing off is starngly baranabe (really don't know why though) and goth as he does die in sunwing (was so upset with that by the way). Hope you don't kill off goth like Kenneth oppel did in sunwing. Really hope we see more of Loki's character and his unique connection to melody. I gave a fan theory in the reviews for the first two chapters about that. Hope you don't mind and if you do can you say why. Don't know if you read it or not but it was a kinda spur of the moment type of review and I properly got a lot wrong so i apologise for that.
Phoenix being the main villain eh? Well I have only one thing to say to you Anna. AWESOME!!!!!. Just hope you also add in a bit of humour somehow for her. Villain who do some crazy things to the point of being funny are most memorable in my opinion. Hope you and some humourous moments between goth and Mel. Maybe izel and throbb try to set them up together but it doesn't go according to plan. Have you seen Sinbad and the legend of the seven seas? Well there is a funny scene where maraina and Sinbad are on an island (really a giant fish) and are fighting. She calls him arpgant and some other things while he is calling her things too and she ends up throwing a lot of things at him, all the while their crew/friends are watching. If you can add some scenes from Sinbad that would be so amazing as when i watched it I thought that some of the scenes would be perfect for goth and Melody such as the giant fish scene, ROC, and just after the sirens scenes. Whatch these scenes and let me know what you think.
Overall I love your work and can't wait to see more chapters and art. Oh! Before I forget I have a request. I know you aren't taking requests at the minute and are probably going to be really annoyed with me for asking you to take up your valuable time to do another couple of designs but I am asking and hoping you won't be too mad. Can you do two Christmas designs please. One where goth and melody ( human or bats it doesn't matter) under the misiltoe. Make it funny or romanic like your quick! do a romantic rover pose sketch. Then can you do another design with melody, goth, shade, marina, barnabe, Elliot, orestese and maybe throbb, being all chriatmasy. Sorry, really into Christmas at the moment as I just finished decorating my house with nan and granddad. Thanks for reading and sorry about the requests.
