A layout sketch for a piece that I've wanted to try and bring to life (or, perhaps it would be more correct to say death). As this is still in its planning phase, all suggestions and critiques are welcomed! The hair will be much darker, and entangled with webs and perhaps longer sticky threads.Related content

Looking great so far and a really good plan, the elements you've chosen are not only harmonious but offer great opportunities for strong contrast and readability -the two most important aspects of any black and white illustration imo!
Love all the little details that have already come to you and am sure this will look amazing when finished, don't leave it sitting on a shelf for too long, don't let it's intricacy intimidate you from pushing it over, this is a masterpiece waiting to happen!

Never a worry on late replies, life is busy and often quite draining, socializing on any level requires a certain amount/kind of energy, just like art, I'm sure you will do a fantastic job finishing this piece when the time comes!
