From Ninjago S1EP1:
When i first watched this scene i didn't really think much about it (it was just something fun xd)

But later i realized that:
- No one is thinking "huh, that kid is alone and clearly not okay" and trying to help Lloyd (instead villagers throw food at him and are annoyed at KID) (well, he could have stolen stuff before, but no one thought about why a kid his age is stealing food and wandering alone?)
- This is just older kids (Ninja) bullying younger kid

Random headcanon:
- When someone (finally) let him down, Lloyd went to collect all the food villagers threw at him and ate them out of everyone's sight.
