Mainly asking is I can squeeze you in for the standard shipping of 3-5 days for $5 or we can go with priority rate of 2-3 days for $8 but it'll be there by the Xmas even give or take? would you have any advice for someone trying to make hats as a hobby? (:
like sewing techniques/tricks, places to buy good fleece/what type of fleece or fabric to buy, anything really i want to see if i can make some cool stuff too

Hiya! Sorry for the late reply 
Before all shapes and such, always draw and cut it out on a scrap piece of paper so you can get the size. And remember that when sewing the shapes together you'll lost about half an inch when you turn inside out after sewing it.
I use anti-pil fleece, and keep in mind that one direction will be stretchier than the other, as that will make a differences when sewing the pieces together/stuffing projects.
For wiring in the ears or other, I use floral wiring and i use the 22 gauge size
If you go to clearkid's page, she has a few tutorial that will be useful. Once you get the idea down, you can make it your own style, as that's what I've done with my fleece hat method. So good luck!!
