heh~ I would use tomes from other countries besides America if I were you. A neutral country observing the war you are studying for instance. Also read the ones on the enemy side as well. The winning side tends to be the most bias against the loser. If you're looking up 1812 however it would be wise to ignore all of Canada's history on it. No offence to them but some pretend it didn't happen and that some of them didn't attack innocents.
Also I advise you to read political comic books by Tom Tomorrow, not only are they good but they have facts as well. Listen to the radio not the news as well.

Thank you, I will do that. It really is important to read about historical things from different sides. But since IΒ΄m not that good at speaking and reading english, I would need books either in danish or german.
Luckily IΒ΄m still going to school, and I love our history classes.

hmmm... can't help you much there.... All the books I would wish for you to read are in English, unless you get the translated versions... English is my first language after all. If you ever need information on America don't be afraid to ask me. Plus your English is really good~
