I'm still in the process of figuring out how to stop comparing myself and my work to others. While I think analyzing why and how you do something compared to another individual can be helpful, I personally tend to dwell on those differences and wonder if I should be more or less like the person or their work. I think this can be very harmful, not only to my own self image but to the work and messages I am trying to create.
I have so many passions and so few outlets. I think this may be my problem.
I wish we had more time. But I suppose nothing would ever be genuine if we all had forever.
