First impression:
Straight away I like this picture due to a lot of factors, the details, the quality of it and the colours especially.

Vision:
I don´t know if this was a premeditated shot of if it was spontanous, the more I look at it, the harder I find it to say.

Originality:
What I like in this portrait is that you don´t have the eyecontact with the model, but still its interesting. The eyes pointion downward (at least we think they aree.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" />) pluss the clear lines made by her arms makes it very easy for the eye to travel around, giving it a more vibrant and dynamic feel. Excluding the eyecontact and giving more focus to the details on her earpiece and her glasses gives this picture another dimension, as if it has multiple main subjects at once.

Technique:
As I mentioned earlier I like the general feel of the quality of the shot. By quality Im talking about the precise focus the crisp but still semisoft feel and the smoothness of it all.
I like how the colours in the background works with the colours on the subject, blue and yellow/brown/skin tones almost always play well together. The subtle level of colouring you have chosen also gives this picture a comfortable and calm mood.
In terms of cropping I would maybe leave just a little more of the head, still, the tight crop makes it more intimate and close, wich is also a quality I like in this photo.
Going back to the lines the left shoulder and her face makes a brilliant line through the photo, which is crossed by the other arm. As mentioned her eyes also gives a third line. This is great! So much to look at, and so easy for the eye to find something interesting to look upon.

Impact:
As I said in the first impression part, I liked it straight away. It is certainly a picture I find myself looking on and wondering about. That is one of my favourite things when it comes to photography, when you can loose yourself in a picture. Good work!
