The very dark piece of ground in the bottom left of the frame accents the shot well and doesn't detract from anything. I get a sense of depth and comfort when I see it there. The way the black(grey?) pieces of clouds overlay the bright sun makes it look like a sunset smashed into the twilight and smeared as it flew near the horizon.

It would be more wonderful if the contrails were not in the picture... but that was not by your choice. It was out of your control, and this is a breathtaking sight that I wouldn't want to miss no matter what. Even though it lacks the hues of most, I think that this bond of day and night is perfect to show harmony between[even though the night is at the horizon; that is even more juxtaposing].

Clouds are my favorite thing in the world to look at. They make me think of millions of scapes painted across the air of a billion different worlds.[or six billion different worlds, if you want to look at it from the human element of perspective]

I feel that they are the opposite of this world around us, not full of anything much and so unreal.

So etherous, bright(or dark...), and so very far away from the surface of everything.

They define our skies, and resist our earthen paths.

{I know this is not completely true, but I feel like saying: They defy gravity, and whatever pulls us down in life. They lift up our lives when we pick up our eyes and look to them}
