Ok so welcome to me talking about icewing fashion and random bs for a few paragraphs. Essentially I made a different design for the Gift of Strength for Snowfall so I like the idea that it changes with it’s wearer (and thats the same idea for other gifts as well) so here we go!

Quick notes on my version of icewings:
-They are covered in very soft fur as babies, typically as they get older it falls off to stay around their undersides
-Their spikes and horns grow with age, the most common shape is antler-like and develops throughout their lives. They can sort of "sculpt" their horns if they want as they grow.
-Icewings shed their spikes as they age. I'm kinda going off this headcanon here! cursed-wof.tumblr.com/post/648…

Queen Snowfall-
  She wears a wolf pelt cape on her back and the Gift of Strength makes her look well… strong! She wants to appear menacing to other dragons, a strong formidable queen that no one would doubt. Of course after her development over the book it would change shape to be more modest, so I just drew the one she’d have for most of the book.
Headcanon of mine is that Snowfall is Homoromantic, that is all.

Queen Glacier-
  Glacier was said to be gone days on diplomacy and battle patrols so I’d imagine her Gift of Strength to be the most practical out of the others. It just mostly functions as armor.  Glacier herself never took a partner, she was very close to Blaze but never committed anything due to them being in a war. She was more focused on her tribe and keeping them safe.
Queen Diamond-
  The baddie herself, I hate her for how shitty she is but she’s also very interesting to me??? She doesn’t give a shit about anything anyone says and probably works out of spite only.
    Anyways she wears a coat made of nightwing scales because she feels like it. And she’s wearing the Gift of Strength, it manifests as something both fashionable but dangerous, the blade on top is created from diamond.  She has diamonds embedded in her scales. She was born without any fur, which is rare for icewings. And muchh like a hairless cat she always has to wear coats and sweaters. This added to her meanness as she was always slightly cold since their fur helps them stay insulated.

Queen Snowdrop (My own character I made for funsies ^^)-
    The daughter of Snowflake and Snowfox, created with the Gift of Life (animus object I made up lmao). It’s an animus-touched pearl created a long time ago to allow any couples to create offspring no matter their sex. It took Snowflake a lot of warming up to the idea after being hurt by animus magic previously.
    Snowdrop grew up as an ambitious princess, and was influenced by her mothers to hate Diamond. She saw that Diamond was purely destroying herself and held no care for the icewing civilians. Knowing what she had to do she challenged Diamond for the throne, winning spectacularly. She ushered in an era of peace after this. Being known as the “fun” icewing queen. Creating new holidays and was more lax with old traditions. After hearing her mother Snowflake being fearful of animus magic throughout her life has also made Snowdrop wary of it, only using ones she deems “safe” such as the Gift of Light, Gift of Diplomacy, etc. She still held a fear of the nightwings after their strange disappearance but since there hadn’t been sightings of them in years she was able to reassure the icewings scarred by Darkstalker.
    As for appearance her Gift of Strength looks just like a fancy tiara thing, she has nothing to hide and she knows she can handle most threats. She often will wear anything that looks fancy and elegant. She’s very fluffy and kept almost all of her baby fluff.
    In Darkstalker: Legends Clearsight spoke of Snowfox’s daughter who would be next to take the throne, so I figured I’d create my own take of her! I was also inspired by Legendarywitchsheart’s silly little comic here: queen-snowfall.tumblr.com/post…
The idea that they name their daughter another name that begins with Snow is all I can think about and Snowdrop sounds like a perfect princess name.
