On-X, Krys, and Rainbow Brite from Rainbow Brite And the Star Stealer (Rainbow Brite Movie)--
This took way too long for it's own good to finish. But that's okay - it's good stuff. Fanart from one of my favorite childhood movies: Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer. ^^ Came out in 1985 and was released on DVD this month - had to pick it up. ^_^ After watching it my shipping senses kicked in and I went 'Krys x Rainbow Brite" *_* So I drew cute widdle pic - On-X is in there b/c that horse rocks. So does Skydancer now that I think about it, and Starlite - heck all the horses rule. ^^ yes! Love the Rainbow!
*Make sure you're full-viewing btw - even at full view I had to shrink the image by 50% so having it shrunk again kinda kills any content that was in it to start with.

The coloring on this picture is perfection. Especially the rainbow. I also did view it in full view, and it was definately ten times better. Stupid shrinkage, it always ruins things...
And I'm glad to find another Rainbow Brite x Krys shipper. I always loved how these two did nothing but argue. They're so perfect for each other. ^_^

i loved rainbow brite too, but i remember very little about it compared to how much i remember about care bears, my little pony, and tmnt. but a dvd release sounds awesome!

Dude, I saw the DVD the other day and was all "Sweet Christmas!" XD I used to watch that movie to death as a kid. Seeing some fanart of it is just...niiice.

No Way! For Real?! My fave episode was the one where that mysterious mare showed up to help them. Memorable because it was the first time I realized Starlite was a *male*!

MY FAVOURITE MOVE WHEN I WAS A KID!! *points* And... i was ALWAYS a Krys x Rainbow Brite shipper, i think. Even when i was like, four and saw that movie for the first time.. >__> Oh god, the '80s were beautiful. X3 (despite that i was only alive for four of the years and therefore do not exactly remember most of it.. XD)

I remember my sister got a rainbow doll and snazzy car as a reward for not wetting the bed. Apparently, at the time it was acceptable for me to wet the sheets, because I never got a cool Rainbow Brite doll.
Who cares if I am the younger sister, and was in diapers at the time. Jeesh.
Anyways, I love this. The horse is oh-so cool, and the colouring on this is even cooler. The rainbow rocks, it's very smooth and precise. It's almost looks like it's an illustrator effect.
Loving the sky, it contrasts nicely with the rest of the more illustrative style of the piece.
Awesome picture!!! Even if My Little Ponies was much cooler.
