Sesshomaru from InuyashaWas at MacHall [link] and decided to read their art tutorial, and I noticed that they shaded in a similar method to some other artists that i had seen here and there. So, I said 'what the heck' and tried it out. ^_^ Or at least the first step, b/c I enjoy the simple cell shading. ^_^ Please tell me you can tell the difference between my shading here and on my other cell shading.... or at least humour me. ^^; *spent much much much more time on this one than normal* I'm much happier with the results here, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra time..anyway I'll stop rambling now.
Sesshomaru is pretty. Very pretty.

Personaly, the biggest differnce I see in this is the face is very different. He looks vacant or (not meaning to insult your art mind you) that he is kinda dumb... or dumbfounded. Which I think is funny cause I always think Sessh is so smug about everything. I'm pretty sure it's something with the eyes. The shading is really smoothe and all, but I don't know if it's worth alot more of your time. I think your normal way is probably best, I like the results alot. I'm also a fan of Machall. They have some funny stuff. You know, I think I shall fav.

pretty!!!! I love your attention to detail!!!! And it actually looks like he could be missing his arm! I swear half the time in the Anime they forget that!!! LOL!! Anyway, she shading looks really smoothe and nice!

More like in fanart. ^_^ Hee hee. They remember he has no arm in the anime, but people don't like to leave him one-armed when they draw fanart...it gets annoying, ne? ^_^

Let's see. I like the picture because, quite frankly, it's very well drawn and colored and blah blah. I felt you could have shaded his little--what're you calling it now?--boa a bit more along the edges.
Nice attention to detail. The eyes scare me. I think it's the shape and the flat color.
He looks...well, thinner to me. I don't know why. I think it might be my glasses.

I can't shade to save Sean Bean's life!!!! I have nevr really tired (serioulsy) with shading, or folds in clothes. It's just my lazyness. So I don't havea clue what the diference is!! Good picture still!!!
