VIDEO [link]As you saw from photos posted a while back the head and wings have sat finished for months... That is because this customer order started in May but got delayed due to lack of duct tape dummy, hand tracing and shoes needed to complete the rest... and then finally in December I got to finish my first hippogriff costume which also features my first set of feathered backpack wings. I decided to dub him "Neighclaw" in honor of Harry Potter's Buckbeak

There's only one mistake: Hippogriffs have brid ears, hidden behind the feathers.

I notice that you used the same kind of pattern for the wings as you did for your red loftwing cosplay, or is that just my eyes playing tricks on me?

Actually, silly me. They look the same, but the loftwings' wings are fully articulated thanks to being the arm of whoever's wearing the suit, and the hippogriffs' are backpack styled wings.

There are only 2 others that I am aware of. It is actually a rather rare species choice for costumers when compared to a standard half lion type gryphon.
